Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Rabbi Hillel Greenberg brings a mix of big-city energy and small-town heart to his work in Hazleton. With years of experience in Jewish education, mentoring youth, and guiding individuals on their spiritual journeys, Rabbi Hillel is known for his approachable style, down-to-earth vibe, and genuine love for every Jew.
He received his rabbinical ordination (semicha) after years of dedicated learning, and more importantly, has a passion for making Judaism come alive — whether he’s teaching a deep Torah concept or just sharing a good laugh over kugel at a Shabbat meal.

Originally from sunny Florida, Rivky Greenberg brings a vibrant energy and welcoming spirit to everything she does. A talented photographer and graphic designer by profession, Rivky is also the creative force behind many of the events, visuals, and experiences that make Chabad of Greater Hazleton feel like home.
Beyond her artistic side, Rivky has spent years involved in Jewish day camps and youth programs across the globe, where she’s touched countless lives with her warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine care. Whether she’s hosting a holiday event, preparing a beautiful Shabbat meal, or simply welcoming someone new with a smile — Rivky has a way of making people feel instantly comfortable and included.
She’s passionate about building community, bringing people together around the table, and creating an environment where everyone — no matter their background — feels like they belong.
